few 修饰可数名词，表示否定，几乎没有之意 e.g. few books

a few修饰可数名词，表示肯定，有一点，几个之意 e.g. a few books

little 修饰不可数名词，表示否定，几乎没有之意 e.g. little education

a little修饰不可数名词，表示肯定，以一点。。。e.g. a little education

no longer 修饰表语= not any longer 强调状态
He is no longer a child= He is not a child any longer.
no more 可以修饰各种动词（瞬间和持续） ， 也可以修饰名词
There is no more water in the bottle.
He likes it no more.

sometimes 有时 ，句子一般使用一般现在时态
He sometimes goes back home very late.
sometime 某个时候,句子可以指将来或过去的某个时间
Shall we meet sometime next week?
some time 一段时间
He stayed in his grandma's for some time in the holiday.
some times 几次，多次
I have been to London for some times.

few是极其少的意思，出现的话就表示一种否定，修饰可数名词。a few是一些，修饰可数名词。

Little，a little意思同上，但修饰不可数名词。

no longer 是不再的意思，和not。。。any longer一样

sometimes是副词，意思是“偶尔，有时”
sometime作为副词有两个意思，一个是“在将来某个时候”，一个是“在过去某个时候，曾经”，作为形容词是“以前的，前任的”意思
some time是指一段时间，一般前用for
some times是一些次数的意思
