注：有时作主句的谓语可以是：“连系动词＋形容词”。这类形容词有sure，afraid，glad，certain，pleased，surprised等。例如：

Who are you sure will win the game？谁将取胜，你有把握吗？

What was he afraid would cause his failure？他担心的是什么会导致他的失败呢？

2．这种疑问句常用来征询对方对某一疑问点的判断、认识、看法、猜测等等，或者请求对方重复一遍。例如：

What do you think is the matter with the TV set？你认为电视机怎么啦？

How do you believe they will come here？你认为他们将如何到这儿来？

Which part of this book do you think is the most interesting？这本书中你认为哪一部分最有趣？

When do you think the meeting will be held？这个会议什么时候开，你看（认为）呢？

3．在口语中，可以把do you think一类的插入语放在句末，带有补叙的性质。例如：

What is it，do you think？你看这是什么？

It must be a very good book，don't you think？这准是一本很好的书，你说呢？

4．这种疑问句与以know，tell，ask，hear等作谓语动词，其后带宾语从句的一般疑问句不同，其答语形式也不同。试比较：
