out of season与out of date区别

意思上有点差别：

out of season, 表示不合时宜的（这是这个词组“过时的”含义）

out of date 表示过时，不合潮流 （这是这个词组“过时的”含义），此外这个词还有过期的意思。

两个过时含义不太一样，举例：

out of date (连个含义)

1.  Will denim jeans ever go out of date? 粗布牛仔裤会过时吗？

2. My passport is out of date. 我的护照过期了。
   

out of season:

1. The fishermen knew that trout were out of season at that time.
    渔民们知道，那时不是捕鳟鱼的季节。(含义是“不是时候”)。

紫丁香花现已落令, 所以售价如此昂贵。

I spend my holiday out of season.

out of date 

1. 过时的，老式的
   everything in her wardrobe must be hopelessly out of date.

   
   她衣橱内所有的东西都一定老掉牙了。

2. 失效的，过期的
   your passport is out of date.

   
   您的护照已经失效。
