An old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson. The family ate together at the table, but the old man’s shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. His son and daughter-in-law became angry with him. So they set a small table in the corner. There the old man ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner.
Since he had broken a dish or two, the old man’s food was served in a wooden bowl. Still, the only words the couple had for him was sharp admonitions(警告) when he dropped a fork or spilled milk. His grandson watched it silently. One evening, the son of the old man noticed the child playing with wood scraps and asked him sweetly, “What are you doing?” The boy responded, “Oh, I am making a bowl for you and mum to eat your food in when I grow up.”
The words struck the boy’s father so hard that he was speechless. Then tears started to stream down his cheeks. That evening he led his father back to the family table. From then on, the old man ate every meal with the family. Neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled or the tablecloth soiled.

这个“五一”我们全家回宜昌过节，车路过荆州的时候，路牌上写着“荆州博物馆6Km”，我奇怪地问妈妈：“荆州也有博物馆？”妈妈说：“是的呀，妈妈像你这么大的时候参观过的，里面有具西汉时的千年古尸。”古尸？难道就是传说中的“僵尸”。看着我一脸的好奇，老爸说等我们回武汉时顺便去参观荆州博物馆。
当晚我就梦见了“僵尸大战”，可怕极了。我有点后悔答应去参观博物馆了。
回宜昌的第三天，我们就要回武汉了，爸爸妈妈似乎很惦记带我去参观博物馆的事，早上九点就从宜昌出发了，很快我们就到了荆州博物馆。我看到了传说中的僵尸——古尸。
古尸名为“遂”，江陵西乡市阳里人，生前爵位为五大夫，死亡年龄约60岁，距出土时已有两千多年。出土时古尸外形基本完整，身长1.66米，体重52.5公斤。骨骼正常，皮下胶原纤维保存良好，与新鲜组织非常接近，体内的蛋白质、脂肪、糖类等也有不同程度的保存。古尸得以保存完好的原因主要是深埋、密封和棺液的防腐作用，说明我国人民二千多年前在医药、防腐等技术方面已有较高的水平。
这一次参观让我大开眼界，让我了解了古代人民医药的技术水平。
