My hometown is Chongqing, a famous mountain city in China. Our city is beautiful and picturesque.

我的家乡就是全国有名的山城——重庆。我们的城市依山傍水，山清水秀，风景如画。

The flowing Jialing River passes through the city like a dragon circling around the city. The beautiful Nanshan and Gele Mountain make the name of the mountain city a reality.

那奔流不息的嘉陵江穿城而过，宛如一条蛟龙盘旋缠绕在城的周围，风景幽美的南山和歌乐山使山城更名副其实。

The new Jiefangbei is full of people and traffic. A number of high-rise buildings stand around the street, bright windows, colorful advertisements constitute the Liberation Monument bustling scene.

焕然一新的解放碑人来人往，车水马龙。一座座高楼大厦耸立在街的周围，明亮的橱窗，绚丽多彩的广告构成了解放碑热闹繁华的景象。

The hot hot pot makes Chongqing people warm, straightforward and hospitable. If friends come from afar, the fragrant hot pot is definitely a big dinner.

火辣辣的火锅造就了我们重庆人热情豪爽、耿直、好客的性格。如果有朋自远方来，飘香四溢的火锅绝对是一顿丰盛的晚餐。
