那抹绿色
转眼间，秋色已逝去，冬天也已悄然而至了。放眼望去，绿色渐渐隐退了，取而代之的是满眼萧条的枯黄，伤感、忧郁不觉涌上心头。
那日和同学外出去超市购物，正准备离去，突然眼前一亮：满眼的绿色！耐不住心中的喜悦，我在一家盆景店前停了下了脚步，走进去，我的心一下子静了下来。在这纷繁喧闹的马路上，这里是一方净土，置身在大大小小的盆景中，呼吸着绿叶清新的香气，感觉走进了一片初春的树林，四周都是生命的绿色，而眼前这一盆盆精致的花花草草，也正绿得那么充满生机。我决定带走一抹绿色。几经挑选，一盆芦荟吸引了我，不仅仅因为那精致的花盆，更重要的是花盆里那个可爱的小精灵，虽不大，却昭示着生命的旺盛与精彩，令我爱不释手。
就这样，我的课桌上多了一抹绿色，每天的细心照料，只为使教室里仅有的一抹绿色能够焕发出光彩。冬日的晨光有些冷但却很明朗，早早地来到教室，从抽屉起拿出它，让其自由地沐浴阳光，然后照例浇上一小盖水，晶莹的水珠从叶梢滑下，伴着阳光，洒下一桌碎银。晨光映照着整株芦荟，绿得那么剔透，那么诱人，如一汪碧水铸成的翡翠，眼前这一抹绿色，让我的心中充满了愉快与轻松，以更好的心态迎接挑战！
感谢心中的那抹绿色，它洁净着我的灵魂，让我在万物沉睡的冬季始终保持清醒、纯净的心灵，它带给我前进的动力，让我在这充满生机的绿的指引下，更积极更热情地投入到学习生活中。
我挚爱《读者》中的一句话：“生命没有彩排，每天都是现场直播”。的确，我们既不能沉溺于过去，也不能洞知未知的明天，我们所能做得只能把握今天，但愿我们每个人心中都有那么一抹绿色，让今天的生命像这抹绿色一样，绚烂夺目，绽放出永不衰退的流光！

Although history is not many students’ favourite subject, Stephen had made it interesting. He makes a lot of funny jokes during class that would make the students laugh, and the jokes are related to history. This makes learning very fun.

My name is xxx. I’m from a town called xxx in China. I have dark hair and hazel (brown) eyes. I am not very tall, but I’m still very sportive; I play all kinds of sports, such as basketball, badminton, and football. I play sports with my friends every day after school. My favourite class at school is music. I’m always excited for music class. My hobby is collecting stamps.

My parents are very kind, although strict at times. My father is an engineer, and my mother is a doctor. I respect their professions very much, and I want to grow up to be just like them. They taught me a lot of things, such as how to be a good person and student. We travel a lot; we went to Guilin, our hometown about a week ago. I had a lot of fun.

我的家乡

My hometown is Guilin(不知道楼主啊，不过桂林差不多了吧？). I have lived here since I was xx years old. The city is a very modern and developed city, but the natural beauties are still visible. Amidst the modern skyscrapers is a river that flows through the city. There are also many hills and mountains in the city, which attracts a lot of tourists every year. The local foods here is also very unique.
