Our society today
We are now in the 21st century. There are more cars on the roads, more noise on the streets and less trees in the cities. Some say that the advancement in technology makes our life much better. The creations of phones and internet definitely closed the distant barrier between people. However, looking back in history, are we sure that this improvement in our society is truly good for us? Are we not threatened by things such as lack of privacy on the internet and ID thefts?
In addition to the technology threat, what about the environment? The rising global temperature shows that the Earth is more and more vulnerable. The environment is something we should protect, but because of society's focus on commercial development, it seems that there is a little chance for us to give enough attention to what the Earth needs.
In conclusion, modern day society definitely makes our life easier, however, we must always remember to appreciate the land that the Earth provides and take good care of it.
