The general age of college students are between 18 to 25 year. From the psychological point of view， it’s in the medium of youth. Some people say that the college students are adults that they handle well with psychological problems.
However， the rest argue that college students are not so mature when faced with psychological problems. I agree to the latter and i think it’s necessary to open a psychological lesson to the college students because of the following reasons.
大学生的一般年龄是在18到25之间。从心理的角度来讲，这是青年中期。有的人说大学生是成年人了，能够很好地处理心理问题。然而，剩下的人认为大学生面对心理问题的时候没有那么成熟。我同意后者的观点，我认为向大学生开设心理课是必要的。原因如下。
Firstly， in recent years， there are more and more college students drop out from school due to psychological problems. Growing suicides， homicides and other unusual serious incidents are reported from time to time. Now， the social attention to college students’ mental health has reached to climax.
Secondly，college students are in a perplexed and contradictory age. On the one hand， they have to study in school to enrich themselves and to get a diploma. On the other hand， they think they are mature to live an independent life， but most of them still depend on their parents. In addition， study challenge， employment pressure and life stress could produce psychological problems.
首先，近几年，越来越多的`大学生由于心理问题而辍学。越多自杀，谋杀以及其他不正常的严重事故时不时有报道。如今，对大学生心理健康的关注已经达到了高潮。其次，大学生处于一个困惑和矛盾的年龄。一方面，他们认为自己已经成熟了，能够独立生活，但是大部分仍然依靠父母。而且，学习压力，就业压力和生活压力也会产生心理问题。
To sum up， college students are adults but they are still faced with many pressures causing psychological problems that they can not deal with. Therefore， it’s very necessary to open a psychological lesson to college students， helping them get through this period smoothly.
总之，大学生是成年人，但是他们仍然面临很多他们不能解决的引起心理问题的压力。因此，向大学生开设心理课程是有必要的，能够帮助他们顺利度过这一时期。
Recently more and more educator and common citizens suggest that universities colleges open more courses which are helpful for students' psychological health. Personally, I fully agree with their proposal for the following reasons.
On the one hand, the ever-increasing pressure of study at the moment and job-hunting in the future may lead to many psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and even despair, and the psychological courses open a door for communication and relaxation. On the other hand, such courses can teach students how to regulate feelings and emotions under different situations, which is a good preparation for the future life in the complex social network. Finally, these courses also introduce good habits which are conducive to mental and psychological health. To be mature and qualified citizens in the society, students have to do more than study hard.
In a word, I warmly welcome the establishment of psychological courses in universities. In my mind, they are good for students' psychological development.
