Kurt Cobain基本只使用Fender公司的琴,主要使用Jaguar系列,有时也使用Mustang系列. 现在能看到的他的照片,几乎都是拿着的都是Fender Jaguar. 当然,他也用过很多其他品牌的琴,作为一个左撇子吉他手,他很难找到舒服的琴,而且他们又是经常在演出后砸碎自己的乐器,更加加大了这个困难.

1994年初,Fender公司和他一起设计了他的签名型号, 命名为Jagstang系列.从名字可以看出,这款琴的外形是综合了Jaguar系列还有Mustang系列两款的特点.这个系列在Cobain去世不久以后就停产了.

Jagstang系列在很多年前有过再版, 但是也只限量生产了少量.

至于木琴,似乎主要是使用很常见的Martin牌的.
