Yesterday I went to my friend Lixiao's home to help make some preparations for her coming birthday party. We did a lot of things together.
Firstly we cleaned the sitting room. It was necessary to make everything clean and neat, as there would be many friends at the party the next day. Then we decorated the house with some flowers and balloons. Finally, we made a chocolate birthday cake by ourselves! This was my favourite part during the day, and I have to say it was a great success as both of us had never tried that before!
Although it was quite tiring work, I was still happy and satisfied when looking around the house and holding the delicious chocolate cake!
