英语短文改错，急！！！

My goal in life was to become successful doctor.I knew I had to finish high school first,so I put my heart into my study-in particular,biology,chemistry,and maths.I worked hardly at these subjects,so I became good at it.However,I forgot that Ineeded to master some other subjects beside those I had been chosen. As a result,I failed both English and Latin at the beginning of the second school year.But I had to repeat the subjects and was almost unable to graduate as planned. How a good lesson I learned!

these subjects复数，所以后面要 so I became good at them.

I had been chosen 是"我被选上了" ,要说I had chosen

what, 不是how

最后 跟英语无关，

这两句没有转折，不需要"but但是"。
