I agree with parents is our best teacher this statement. Should be in daily life we can learn from them to many others don't teach us things, such as life skills, the etiquette, etc.
Although vary from person to person, but every parents more or less can on study help us. If your father is a sports teacher, so he can not only teach you sport, and he can also teach you the physics and mathematics. Parents also is very good life teachers because they live longer than we, as South Korea maxim: 'they had dinner that meal than we eat more'. This means they happened more than us in our life, for example, they encountered it can tell us the correct problem solving method.
