在不列颠每年有上千人丧生于公路上。每年有一到二十万人受伤。这些人都是因交通事故而造成伤亡。

使交通变安全的规定倒是有，但是人们并不总是愿意遵守它们，这些人很粗心。如果每个人都遵守交通规则，交通会更安全。那我们如何令交通更安全呢？

在不列颠要记得车辆是靠左行的。汽车和公交车以及自行车必须都靠左行，在大多数其他国家交通则向右行使。
在过马路之前，停下来左右看看才能确定是否可以安全的穿过马路，如果你看见小孩子或很老的人过马路，要帮助他们过去，我们必须教小孩子安全的过马路。我们要给他们树立好榜样。小孩子一定不能在街上玩耍。
