张老师，想请教您关于报考雅思的几个问题。

第一，我现在是高二的在校学生，想要2个月后试着考一下雅思，但是之前只有复习过托福，不知雅思的考试范围跟难度与托福差距大不大?
第二，关于雅思的口语部分把握不大，主要是因为一直接触的都是人机对话，不知雅思的人人对话 题型是怎样的，难度如何?另外，我不太想报班复习，不知自己准备口语考试要如何准备?

我个人认为雅思考试不托福考试相对容易些；

首先告诉你雅思和托福的区别：

（1）单独计算VS.总体评分

IELTS考试分为听力9、阅读9、写作9、口语9四个独立部分，四个部分单独计分，最终成绩为四项的平均成绩9；而TOEFL考试总分则是四门成绩的总计（满分120分）。

（2）IELTS适合人群VS. TOEFL适合人群

IELTS适合人群：想去英联邦留学的学生或移民加拿大，澳大利亚和新西兰的人员。雅思考试对词汇的要求并不是很高，但却非常生活化。TOEFL适合人群：希望去美国、加拿大等国留学的学生。

（3）笔考VS.网考
雅思考试现在还是传统的笔试模式。而新托福则是以网考的形式进行，整个新托福考试的运行都要通过电脑来完成。

（4）人人对话VS.人机对话
雅思的口语考试是由考官和考生一对一的交谈。新托福考试的口语部分，考生将戴上耳机听考题，然后在限定时间内思考，最后对着麦克风在规定的时间内进行回答。整个过程考生面对的是机器、屏幕提示和读秒指示。

（5）英式文化VS.美式文化

IELTS考试是以国际化为出发点，涉及的文化地理等方面知识以英澳两国居多。TOEFL则是以美式英语为基准，听力中完全是标准的美音，而且也有美式的习语、俚语出现，涉及有大量关于美国的历史、文化、政治、地理等方面的内容。

（6）单独技能VS.综合技能
虽然都是分为听、说、读、写四科分别测试，但雅思考试的四科测试要相对独立。新托福考试中的一个难点则是综合技能的测试。典型的例子是考生在完成写作的第一道考题时，要先三分钟读一段文字，然后两分钟再听一段听力材料，之后再二十分钟针对这段文字和这段听力材料之间的联系说一分钟或者写一篇150－225字的作文。

（7）雅思用途VS.托福用途
新托福的成绩只能用于留学申请使用，而雅思考试因为有A类和G类之分，A类的雅思成绩用于留学申请，G类的雅思成绩则可以用于申请移民，所以相对来说雅思考试的适用范围更广一些。

其次，雅思口语考试，是对着考官是比较容易的，答题时间停顿上你停顿的时间尽量不要超过5秒，口语考官基本是按着停顿超过5秒的时间来，来判定你的是否回答完毕。
还有个小经验：就是在口语考试时，你要回答你能回答（回答流利并准确），不要回答你想说但是说不清楚的答案（不要边想边回答，容易造成停顿时间过长，用词不准确）；

要做好准备,轻松面对....

您必须做好准备和准时。记着带可以证明您身份的证件。您或许会被面试官要求填写一份资料表（Curriculum Vitae或Resume) 填写时切记要真实和详细。面试官会根据您填写的资料问问题。考试开始时会录音。您不用担心，录音只是用来确保面试官没有做错任何步骤。第一印象非常重要，您应尽量讲有意思和有趣的话题,发音也很重要,再有趣和有意思的话题都必须要让人容易听得懂。记着英语的表达是很着重语调和高低音;身体语言也可以帮助表达，放松自己，但也不要显得太轻松。尽量让您的形态告诉面试官您不紧张和有自信。

尽量积极主动....

答问题时千万不要只回答“Yes”或“ No”。记着这个考试的目的是让您有机会说话，您要放开心情说话。面试官的角色是负责引导您说话，在整个面试过程中您说话时间的比例至少要有75%至80%，您要在回答问题时表现正面的态度。考生通常都应该诚实地回答所有问题，但有一些问题，回答的时候还是应该保持比较正面。例如问您对澳洲的印象，就算您真的认为非常不堪，也不应说出口。

答案一定要清晰详细....

千万不要刻意用一些深奥或复杂的字来解释事情。不要以为这样可以加深面试官的印象，一个简洁易懂的答案绝对比一个复杂难懂的答案好。简单的答案不代表短答案，短答案会使整个面试有太多停顿，而面试官也要大伤脑筋多想问题。

您一般会被问及关于您的背景和考IELTS考试的原因。您应对这类问题做好准备，在第一阶段表现的要求包括：

1）在轻松友善的态度下介绍自己；

2）用简单,准确而流利的言语提供您自己的基本资料；

3）表现给面试官知道您愿意表达自己和您有很多有趣的事要告诉他。

应做和不应做的事...

应做的事

1）保持微笑和保持眼神接触；

2）当和面试官握手的时候，用力一点以表诚意；

3）清晰和详细地回答；

4）大方的谈及自己的事情和经验以控制场面；

5）测验前多练习，以肯定您能准确运用过去式等等的语法。

不应做的事

1）不要告诉面试官您很紧张，也不要眨眼太多和眼珠有太多移动；

2）握手时不要让面试官以为自己在握着一条死鱼；

3）不要让对话在短句中中止；

4）当面试官期望您进一步说明，不要随便停下；

5）有语法错误时不要害怕，应镇定地更正，但在口语考试中，流利度绝对比语法准确度重要。

It would really depend on the child’s emotional maturity, character, capacity, intellect and resilience to be able to have a bright future. Most of the tycoons that we know did not come from well to do backgrounds, thus some of them were not able to finish even the elementary level. A bright future is not only gauged on material gains, but on how much this individual has contributed for the benefit of those around him.

1. Do you think that we should have censorship in TV programs?
Yes, I think that we should definitely have censorship in TV programs. I speak not only for the children but for the adults as well. What we see on TV do affect our subconscious level more than we are actually aware of. X rated films and violent programs are major factors why crime and violence are very rampant in the world we are living in.
2. Why some people are willing to spend a lot of money in purchasing magazines?
Magazines can be source of leisure yet can be informative as well that is why some people do not hesitate to splurge their money on these things. Through magazines, we can read about the life of some of our favorite celebrities. We get to also learn about practical tips about budgeting, fashion, improving our homes, etc. It is a source of entertainment where learning is fun and not forced.

3. What kind of influence can advertisement give to people?
Advertisement either compels people to buy or refrain them from buying certain things or from doing certain actions without their conscious awareness. It is a very powerful tool to influence the mindset of people both young and old. All types of advertisement seem to have this kind of impact whether they are found on the billboards on the trains, buses and roads, whether they are found in the magazines or newspapers, and whether they are seen on TV. Advertisement has great power to boost or break a particular brand.
