主要是语气上的不同
can't表示的是不能够（可能是能力不及），比如 I can't get it.我够不到它
mustn't表示的是不应该（语气很强烈的表否定），比如He mustn't be there yesterday.他昨天肯定不在那儿（可能说话者看到他昨天在别的地方了）
shouldn't表示不应该（可以这么做但是不应该这么做），比如You shouldn't make the mistake.你不应该犯这个错误（你已经犯了，但是不应该犯）
needn't表示不必（没必要），比如You needn't come tomorrow.明天你不必来。

mustn’t是禁止， 一般用在法律条文，规章制度，长辈对晚辈，上级对下级，语气强烈
You mustn't take this book out of the reading-room.
shouldn’t 是不应该，You shouldn't talk in class.
needn’t是没有必要，You needn't finish the work today.You can do it tomorrow.
couldn't have done否定的猜测，肯定没做过某事
Mary couldn't have gone abroad，for I met her on the street just now.
shouldn't have done不应该做某事却做了某事，
