Late in July, we left St. Louis, the largest city of the state of Missouri, for a long weekend in Santa Fe. Santa Fe is also home to more than 250 art galleries. Music lovers come to Santa Fe for the Chamber Music Festival, the Desert Chorale, and of course, the Santa Fe Opera. Two shows are available each night at the opera. While we’re seated in the open-air theater, it is easily viewed that the light from the stage performance go through the clouds floating over the dark mountains.
