grow的用法及固定搭配

关于grow,grow 有被动的吗?
关于grow的用法我一直都搞不懂,比如,我好像记得grow没有被动的,是吗?请大家结合如下两题帮说说.
1.改错题：Anyone ever asks how old she is ,she always answers,“It must be terrible to be growing up.”
growing--grown 为什么啊?
2.The whole morning as he waited for the result of the interview ,his worry ______.
A grew
B is growing
C has grown
答案是A ,为什么呢?

1.固定搭配：grown up 长大的,成熟的,成年的
PS：中间可以用“-”来连接,没有也可以
例句：what do you want to be when you are grown up?
你长大了想做什么?
2.没必要用现在完成时,整句都是一般过去时.
最后,grow一般没有被动,只有在解释为种植的时候可以用被动：
例句：i grow some roses.
= Some roses are growed by me.
