Dear OCOG:
My name is LiMing, a senior high school student. i am writting to ask you to admit me to be one of the volunteer serving for the Olympoic Games.
i am 19 years old,a boy with a positive mind and tremendous enthusiam for serving the people around.I believe that the experience to be a volunteer is of significance,so i set up my mind to do all i can do to take part in various activities to serve the people who need help, to do some compulsory labor. Recently,there was a voluntory activity about greeting the 16th Asian Games. I performed well in guiding foreigners to find the right way using my fluent English and gained the reconization of my teachers and classmates. I feel confident about my English.Most importantly, i have the capacity in oganization, which makes everything go well with oder. So I have the desire and the ability to bo a volunteer of Olympics.
As for the job, if i am reconized to be the volunteer successfully, i would rather to be a tourist guide for translating or a receptionist. I will be highly appreciated if OCOG gives the valuable chance to me.

此英语信函的亮点是
开篇要开门见山
第二段 表达了自己有极高的热情去参与志愿者，然后就是拿出具体事例去说明自己的经历，让读者知道这是有证据的。（作文最好有具体事例去支持,让文章更容易被接受）然后就说明了自己的两个优点：英语水平很，自己很有自信（对自己都没自信的人还有什么资格干活）：自己有个很好的领导能力，领导能力往往是在大型志愿活动中占有举足轻重地位作用的啊。
最后就简明交待了自己心仪的工作，要简明，不然太啰嗦的话好像是在喧宾夺主。
联系方式什么的就不太重要了，包含了就好了。还有就是注意一下格式吧，如果你觉得我这个格式有错，你可以去查一查了，因为我现在很久没有接触这类的作文了。然后其它的你就自己看着办吧，可以在此基础上做一些修饰。
