近些年来,由于配备了柴油共轨系统,柴油车动力更强大,更省油耗,柴油机在汽车中的应用日益广泛。但是柴油车的尾气排放,尤其是氮氧化物和颗粒物的排放量要远远大于汽油车,严重污染了我们生活的环境,随着排放国标的要求日趋严格,如何降低柴油汽车尾气排放污染物成了一个大问题。
由于燃料原料和发动机本身的限制,要通过机内净化尾气非常困难,因此,SCR尾气后处理系统就诞生了。该系统主要利用一定量的高压喷射的催化剂(尿素水溶液)与汽车尾气在SCR催化器内发生化学和物理反应,达到降低氮氧化物排放的作用。
