It is reported that over 10,000 high school leavers have failed to sign up for the College Entrance Examinations this year in a city. There are a variety of reasons for the phenomenon.
As a matter of fact, it is not a lone phenomenon. Not only in the city mentioned above have the leavers refused to enter themselves for the examination, but also many a few graduates from high schools throughout the country have done so. Looking into the phenomenon, we can easily find out the undermentioned reasons:
Firstly, some of them live a relative hard live, they cannot afford the high tuition fee to take a more advanced courses of study. Added to this, the difficulty that the college graduates have taken up thier occupations has a hold on their hopes for the future. Of course, because some of them have not done well in their school works, they are lack of confidence for any college.
