Unlike local individuals, sightseers often prepare a long period time to go travelling.
It is high time that constructive measures should be taken to prevent the situation from getting worse. The first solution is that museums and historical sites could give a discount on entry tickets, if visitors can provide a local identity card. As a result, local people are more likely to pay a visit there. In addition, the local governments are supposed to take it as their responsibility to introduce their citizens to those interesting places. For example, the officials could make some videos related to the history stories behind the historical sites in order to stimulate the interests of natives.
In conclusion, although sightseers often have a stronger motivation to visit museums and historical sites, however, natives should learn from them with the help of effective measures from governments which I mentioned above.
