My school carried out new projects. Some foreign high school students would e to our school to study for a month. We were so excited about the project, because we had learned English for many years and we never had the chance to talk to the native speakers. Now the chance was ing and I wanted to make friends with them. I joined the activities, which was for students to municate with foreign friends. I was so nervous to municate with my partner. I was afraid of making mistakes when speaking English. But since we talked, I found she could understand me and we shared the culture. I learned a lot and we became friends. Don't be afraid of making mistakes when we speak English. If we want to get improved, just speak. 　　i hope i can watch tv everyday i was looking forword to the 2-month vacation when it would e in a few days. you can't imagine how excited i was on the first day; you also can't know how disppointed i am now. i have too much homework to do in the summer vacation. and what's more, i have to go to some extra classes every morning because of my parents. for the extra classes every day, it is impossible for me visit my grandparents or play with my friends. luckily, i can watch tv for o hours every afternoon. the tv hours is the happiest time for me. i feel quite relaxed while watching tv. at that time, my parents are at work, so nobody can disturb me. i totally enjoy myself during my golden time. last night, i dreamed that all parents and teachers had a meeting. later, they decided that morning classes were cancelled. then all the kids could gather together, sing together, watch tv as they wished. i think you can imagine how excited i was. i laughed and laughed. but as i opened my eyes, i even wanted to cry. oh, we are pitiable kids. dear daddy and mummy, i beg you! give me back my vacation! when would i watch tv every day? a sunny day i got up early today to watch the sunrise. while i waited for the sun to rise, i sat beside my window and thought of my future. soon i will be a grown man and i won't be a baby anymore. maybe i'll be going to college if i pass the college entrance examination. i didn't want to think of not passing this important examination, for my parents are counting on me to do so. anyway, if i don't pass this one i should try again next year. i thought about my parents too. they have worked so hard to give us children a good life. now, they are getting older little by little. there are more grey hairs now in mother's hair. as for my father, he's beginning to have a hard time reading the newspaper. he uses a pair of glasses now. all these thoughts touch me and tell me that time is indeed swiftly passing. the sun was ing out of the horizon. first it was just a ray of light. but little by little the whole circle started ing into view. the sky was a bright orange with a blue haze surrounding the emptiness. soon i could feel the warmth of the sun as its rays passed through my window pane. the view was really beautiful, more beautiful than any picture i had ever seen. in a few minutes everyone was awake and everyone went on their own way with their lives. another day started and it was another beginning for all of us. january 13 2005 it was the first day of our winter holiday. all of us were very happy. why? because we have one months to do things we love to do. we are free. although we have some homework. but we can finish them in several days. and the rest time we can make good use of. my god! we have been very tired after hard studying. in winter holidays, i want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. last but not the least, i will have a good rest. january 14 2005 it was the second day of our winter holiday. i felt good. i felt i’m free. i had a lot of time to do things i like. my parents are in beijing. so i live alone but i don’t feel lonely. but i didn’t do something special. i stayed at home and watched tv. oh! i wrote an english daily position. it was my homework. today, i have slept for 14 hours. i thought i was very tired. it was time for dinner. i must go! i am very hungry.
