This is how it was for me.this是主语“这个。。”，is是谓语“是”，表语从句充当宾语“对我来说，就是这样”。合起来就是“对我来说，这个情况就是这样。”
同理，it is the source for the material that follows. it是主语“这个”，is是谓语“是”。the source是宾语“来源”，“for the material that follows”则是用来描述宾语“source”的。合起来就是“这个就是以下资料的来源。”
