Roads in my hometown were dirt roads and potholes. Sunny days are fine, but rainy days the roads are full of puddles and muddy. If you walk on it, you will slip and get covered in mud, and you will look like a mud monkey.

以前家乡的路都是土路，坑坑洼洼。晴天还好，可是到了雨天路面上到处都是水坑，而且泥泞不堪。走在上面深一脚浅一脚的，一不留神就会滑倒，弄得满身都是泥巴，这时候你看上去就活像一只泥猴。

这几年随着新农村的建设，原来那条泥泞的土路变成了平坦的水泥路。走上去舒服极了，远远看去水泥路就像一条飘动的丝带，蜿蜒着伸向远方。

路两旁是成片的稻田，微风吹过，稻子像在向远方的客人点头致意。路上的行人也多了起来，到了傍晚小朋友们和他们的爸爸妈妈陆陆续续来到路上，他们一边散步，一边聊天，开心极了。
