Nowadays, college students in growing numbers are seen waiting on tables ,clerking in stores, advertising in streets, teaching in families and doing whatever work they can find.
Why do they take these part-time job? The main reason is that through doing these jobs, they can know more about the world outside the campus. Only by acquiring knowledge of the outside world can they easily adapt themselves to it and have prior experiences to stand on when they start working. Only by doing some practical social services can they practice their abilities in management, organization and so on in order to become all-round persons of talent to serve the nation. Therefore, it's quite necessary for college students to know the world outside the campus
There are many ways to know the outside world. First, we should keep pace with society through mass media: radios,televisions,Internet,books and so forth. Second, as the saying goes,"An ounce of practice is worth a pound of theory”. We must go into the real world to do some social services so as to practice our abilities. Finally, we need to make investigations to get first-hand information.
As far as I'm concerned, I'll try my best to know the outside world mainly in two ways. One is to lay a solid knowledge foundation through studying diligently. The other is to take some part-time jobs to enliven theory with practice, enlarge my horizons and enrich my social experience.

Every student may face a serious choice about the future before they graduate from school.Pursuing further education or going to work has become a hot issue in recent years.
Many of the graduate students choose finding a job.They believe that working experience is much more important than the knowledge from the book.Working can not only provide them the knowledge which can not get from the books,but also gives them money.Some of the graduate students choose working just because they want to make lives themselves and relieve the burden on their parents' shoulders.
Nowadays,the population of the unemployed became increasingly large because of the economic recession.Therefore, many students choose to receive the postgraduate education.First,they can learn more professional knowlage.What's more,they can avoid searching for a job in this hard time.
In my opinion,the students should think carefully about their future.They can do part-time jobs during the school time.It is a good way to improve their social experience.And that may help you find out what you really want to do .
