2010年中国上海世界博览会即将结束，我有幸去了四次。虽然参观者人山人海，因为合理地安排了参观时间，我还是参观了近二百个展馆。我的感受是，这次世博会是一次各国科学技术展览和文明思想展示的盛会。
2010年上海世界博览会成为让世界更多地认识中国，尤其是让中国认识世界的窗口。在世博会上，各国不但用科学技术成果表现自己国家的力量，也有用思想表现对人类文明的贡献，更有用科学文明的历史事实，艺术地表达了他们国家对人类文明进步的贡献，还有各国对未来人类文明发展的憧憬。看到外国是怎么发展的？外国人是怎么看待世界的？外国是怎么看待未来的？
中国人常常以四大发明为自豪，但我看了一个欧洲几千万人的小国竟有十多项世界顶级的发明创造成果的展示，使人感到震撼。这种参观的感受，很多中国人都有，这就是激发中国人应该更多地发明创造的欲望和超越别人的激情，并鼓动中国用科技强国的动力。参观者在短短的时间中，能够认识世界和各国的概况，了解世界的未来，这特别是对中国的未来一代，必将产生巨大的无形的影响力。
你说你的民族很优秀，你说你的国家很伟大，在世界博览会中，请拿出你的优秀的伟大的东西来证明！这就是一个民族的力量与一个国家文明的实力的展示！
其实，世界博览会不但是给中国人认识世界，也是认识中国的一个很好的机会。很多外地的朋友到了上海，才知道中国也有这么美丽的城市。前几年，我到美国去旅游。有一个行程路过美国靠近墨西哥的一个边境小镇，在那个偏僻的甚至还很落后的小镇，我说，这地方有什么好玩的，还不如上海的一个边角小镇。有些从来没有到过上海的人觉得，上海怎么可能比美国好呢！在他们的脑子里，上海好像还是一个破旧的小城市，美国什么都比中国好。可叹的是，这些人之中有的还是高级知识分子！可见其对中国自身的孤陋寡闻。走遍世界，才知道上海黄浦江景色，特别是浦江夜景，是世界上最漂亮的地方之一。这次世博会期间，很多上海的外地朋友和外国朋友到了上海，才有了深切的感受。这次世博会，对中国人宣传中国，使得中国人认识中国，也是一次很好的机会。
世博会带给中国什么？给中国带来了新思想新文化新科技，更重要的是新视野新目标新动力！
