My Mother
My Mother isa kind and gentle woman. She is always very gentle. She takes good care of her children and keeps them all at school. I have one brother and two sistets. So she gets four children in all. She gives us every comfort. We all love her and she loves us also.
My mother has too much to do in bringing us up. As our family is too poor to keep a servant, my mother has always to do very much work. She gets up very early and sleeps very late every day. She works hard, yet without complaining.
She is also a thrifty, and industrious woman. She saves every cent that she can and keeps everything in order. As she has been busy eversince she was young, she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, her hair becomes silver white, but she works as hard as ever.
Often she says to us, "work while you work, play while you play. If you do not work, you will become lazy and of no use to society." What piece of good advice this is! We must worth it well and always keep it in our mind.

The City Mouse and the Country Mouse
Once there were two mice. They were friends. One mouse lived in the country; the other mouse lived in the city. After many years the Country mouse saw the City mouse; he said, "Do come and see me at my house in the country." So the City mouse went. The City mouse said, "This food is not good, and your house is not good. Why do you live in a hole in the field? You should come and live in the city. You would live in a nice house made of stone. You would have nice food to eat. You must come and see me at my house in the city."
The Country mouse went to the house of the City mouse. It was a very good house. Nice food was set ready for them to eat. But just as they began to eat they heard a great noise. The City mouse cried, " Run! Run! The cat is coming!" They ran away quickly and hid.
After some time they came out. When they came out, the Country mouse said, "I do not like living in the city. I like living in my hole in the field. For it is nicer to be poor and happy, than to be rich and afraid."

A Dog and a wolf ,a Wolfas almost dead with hunger. A house-dog saw him, and asked, "Friend, your irregular life will soon ruin you.

"Why don't you work steadily as I do, and get your food regularly?"

"I would have no objection," said the wolf, "if I could only get a place." "I will help you," said the dog. "Come with me to my master, and you shall share my work."

So the wolf and the dog went to the town together.

On the way the wolf saw that there was no hair around the dog's neck.

He felt quite surprised, and asked him why it was like that?

"Oh, it is nothing," said the dog. "Every night my master puts a collar around my neck and chains me up. You will soon get used to it."

"Is that the only reason?" said the wolf. "Then good-bye to you, my friend. I would rather be free."

Is Failure a Bad Thing Failure is a common thing in our daily life. As students, we sometimes fail to get high scores in our exams. When we play games, we might be beaten by others. And there are times when we fail to do work well. All these failures happen naturally and almost every one of us has such experiences. However, there are different attitudes towards failure. Some people lose heart when they fail; they think the world is at its end. Some people don‘t take failure seriously but just let it be, while some others learn much from failure, and therefore see the light of hope through failure. In my opinion, what is really important is not failure itself, but what we think of failure and what we do after failure. As long as we don‘t give up, keeping believing in ourselves, and at the same time learn something from failure, we‘ll certainly make our mark in the end. So I am never afraid of failure, for I believe that failure is not a bad thing. Rather, “Failure is the mother of success.”

To Run In The Rain

A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in the store. She must have been about 6 years old. This beautiful freckle faced image of innocence.
It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of the gutter, so much in a hurry to hit the ground, it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there, under the awning, just inside the door the store.
We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. For me, I am always mesmerized by rain. I got lost in the sound and sight of the cleansing force washing away the dust.
Memories of running, splashing and so carefree as a child, came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.
The little girl’s sweet voice broke the hypnotic trance I was in.
‘Mom, let’s run through the rain,’ she said.
‘What?’ her Mom asked.
‘Let’s run through the rain,’ she repeated.
‘No, honey. We will wait until it shows down a little bit.’ Mon replied, ‘If we go out now, we will get really drenched.’
‘No, we won’t.’ the girl insisted. ‘Don’t you remember, Mom? This morning, when you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, and you said to him that if God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!’
Suddenly, there was a total silence all around us. And her Mom paused. Would she think that the girl was too silly? Well, she might simply ignore the girl’s request.
‘Honery, you are absolutely right. Let’s run through the rain. If God let us get wet, well maybe we just need some washing,’ Mom said.
Then off they ran.
They were followed by a few others who screamed and laughed like children, all the way to their cars. And yes, I ran too, got wet and received a needed washing.

Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, you status, and even your health. But, no one can ever take away your inner strength and particularly your precious carefree innocence. So don’t forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday.
I hope you still take the time to run through the rain.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Take the time to live!! Keep in touch with your friends and...don’t forget to run in the rain!
