随着科学技术进步与发展,尤其是微电子与计算机控制技术的发展与运用,企业自动化水平显著提高,在电气设备及各种自动控制系统中采用了可编控制器(PLC)及通信网络技术,它已成为自动控制中不可缺少的自动装置,与此同时电力电子技术的发展,脉宽调制(PWM)也逐步取代其他的调速系统,而人机界面从根本上解决了操作的便捷性,我国20 世纪90 年代以前生产的机电设备,普遍采用继电器控制,由于继电器的自身特点,对电气元件故障的识别能力较弱。为了提高控制系统的可靠性和机床的加工效率,采用PLC 对控制系统进行改造,取得了一定效果。但在采用PLC对原有继电器控制的机电设备进行改造的过程中,除了考虑完成系统工作所需要的控制功能以外,还非常有必要考虑机床电气元件本身故障的自动识别和处理,本文主要介绍PLC在立式车床上使用后,使设备的维护,使用及安全性能的提高。
