Originally, this series had twenty books, but because two of them contained mildly voilent contents, they were not sold in the mainlands. You can buy them from Hongkong, but the price was too high, so I didn't buy it. I've read these two books online, and they talked about the ending of David's life: he was already 61 years old, and is a very mature man. I think he is like an old grandpa who knows everything, yet he looks like a child. When I saw that David, I feel that he is truely old now. But human kind was enslaved and governed by robots, how ironic. I guess the author is trying to warn us that over-development of technology will evetually lead to the destruction of human kind.
