Dear Martin:
It's been a long time since we last talk.In fact, I'm really busy recently. As you know, I am in the university finally and for the past several days I'm totally involved in this whole new life as a freshman.
Almost every facearound is strange to me.They are from different provinces and cities, and we just meet as clas *** ates,as roommates. We have different customs and habbits in the daily life. There are so much fun living with them and studying with them. In addition to the knowledge learned in class, I've got to know so many interesting things with those people. I'm sure I will make many new friends here.
Speaking of the campus, it's much bigger than high school. The scenery is so beautiful and we get a lot more free time than in high school to develop hobbies in a series of unions in school. My favorite place is the English corner and the Hiking Allian. I'm getting used to going to the corner to improve my English and hanging out with people in the Allian to enjoy oursevlves.

这里不仅有好玩的娱乐设施，也有好看的“海洋世界”。这里面有各种各样的海洋动物，看得我应接不暇。那些大鲨鱼、海龟等海洋生物就在我们头顶的玻璃柜里快活地游来游去。我伸手摸摸它们，它们也很好奇地看着来来往往的人们，一点也不害怕。
最让我感兴趣的地方是“水母世界”。进入这里面仿佛来到了梦幻世界。那一片片小水母身体开启，就像一把把透明小伞在水里飘浮着，在彩灯的映衬下五彩斑斓，非常迷人。
短短两天的香港游，我还发现在香港的大街上没有人闯红灯，没有人乱丢垃圾，大家自觉排队，在餐厅里也没有大声喧哗的。有一件小事让我印象深刻。我们在一家快餐店吃饭，邻桌一位穿戴普通的妇女在她快吃完时轻声地对服务员说了句什么并指指盘子，那服务员马上向她道歉并答应她重新上一份菜，这位妇女笑了笑摆摆手，我纳闷服务员为什么道歉，后来我知道了原来这位妇女的青菜里有一个虫子。我想这要是在深圳餐厅，客人肯定会大声责骂服务员并要求重做的。

Jay Chou (traditional Chinese: 周杰伦, simplified Chinese: 周杰伦, pinyin: Zhōu Jiélún, Born on January 18, 1979) is a popular Taiwanese musician specializing in R&B and rap. He is known for his innovative usage of bining both Western and Chinese music styles to produce a fresh sound that is quite unlike what is produced in mainstream Taiwanese pop, and also unique lyrics which touch on various issues.
Jay Chou was born on the 18th of January, 1979 in Taiwan.He was raised by his mother and was shy and quiet during his childhood. Showing interest in music, he began learning to play the piano at the age of 3. By age 16, he was writing songs for popular artists of that time.
Jay first entered the music industry when he appeared in a talent show with his friend, where he acpanied as the pianist. They failed miserably in making a mark on television, but the producer saw the line notes written by Jay was good, so he decided to take a chance on him. Due to Jay’s looks not being good enough for the instant stardom that many of his colleagues could easily attain, he was initially hired to pose songs and write lyrics for others, including Vivian Hsu and Jolin Tsai. Many of his songs became instant hits, though most people were not aware that they were his creations.
In 2000, it was decided that Jay should be given his chance to produce an album of his own. He released his first album Jay, which much to everyone’s surprise became an instant hit. It gained great attention among the international Chinese-speaking munity (including Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, etc). When his second album Fantasy was released he was already among one of the pop stars in the Chinese-speaking munity.
