i finished my homework at school
i won't read my textbooks until my parents are back.
i was reading those books while other students were having fun.
i have been good.
i will be helping my parents out with some housekeepings later.
i would not come home so early if i knew nobody's here yet.
i would be hanging out with my buddies until dinner.
i also didn't have to come home early yesterday either since my parents had been on a trip out of the city.
