Learning a new language is never easy, added onto our everyday stress; it may become very harmful for our health. There are several causes for stress in learning English, most of which are stumble stones for students on the road to success. Incomprehension is the first issue, sometimes the pace of teaching is too fast or too complicated for the students, some are not able to grasp the vocabulary or grammar points quickly, and after some time they will be left behind. This issue aggravates itself and ultimately multiplies the stress. Students will lose interest in learning English because the new material being taught is based on the old material which they have never learnt. The second one is memorization, as most of us are familiar with, while learning English, memorizing vocabulary is the most basic and fundamental aspect. However, this is also the most challenging aspect, students are required to memorize a vast amount of vocabulary, and sooner or later, some of the vocabulary is forgotten. Students will have to relearn them, and this creates stress.
