I recently started learning English. I wanted to write emails in English as soon as possible. I wrote my first email in English after reading just one short book for learners written in simple English and a few emails from an English friend, and after using my very small notebook to collect useful phrases for a few months.
How was that possible——writing correct sentences after getting so little input? My email contained very simple sentences. And the most important thing was my research——I looked up example sentences on the web and in dictionaries.
The writing process was long and it took much effort, but it was fun.
