"Are you in the room now?"i say the girl.but no one anwser me. i'm worry about she.i'm afraid she is faint.so i open the door. the girl is in the room."Hey.What's the matter?"The girl say."I said ' Are you in the room?'but no one anwsered me. i was afraid you was faint"

请问这段话有错吗?特别是那句"I SAID ' ARE YOU IN THE ROOM?'"这句话的ARE 要用过去式吗?如果不用,那拿口语话来说,说英语一般是说:"I SAID WERE ARE IN THE ROOM?"还是"I SAID ' ARE YOU IN THE ROOM?"

I asked, "Are you in the room?"
I asked if you were in the room.
第一句话是直接引用当时的原话，叫直接引语。are不改成were。
第二句是后来间接引用当时的话，叫间接引语。are要改成were。

原文错误较多，我就不一一列举了。现在我直接将改正后的写下来：
"Are you in the room?" I asked the girl. But no one answered me. I'm worried about her. I'm afraid she was faint. So I opened the door. The girl was in the room. "Hey! What's the matter?" The girl asked. " I asked ' Are you in the room?' just now. But no one answered me. I was afraid you were faint."

这段话到处都是错误……反倒是你特意问的' ARE YOU IN THE ROOM?' 没有错误。因为是直接引用，可以不改变时态。
