1. Mr.James wasn't ___ amused at the game. A. very B. fairly C. rather D. much
2. “How do you deal with the disagreement between the company and the customers?"
"The key ___ the problem is to meet the demand ___ by the customers."
答案是to solving, made 第一个空为什么是to solving?to solve 不行吗?
3. The city Washington D.C. (was named) George Washington, the much-loved, much-admired, much-respected first president of the United States. In 1791 he himself arranged to buy the land (which it stands).
这是短文改错的一部分,第一处答案是was named after, 请问was named for 对吗?第二处的答案是stands∧for或for ∧ which,stands for我明白,我不明白什么时候介词可以提前? 也就是说在这句当中for which=where吗?

Mr.James wasn't ___ amused at the game
The game didn't amuse Mr.James much.
2、“The key to...”
3、be named after 是个固定词组,“以......
In 1791 he himself arranged to buy the land which standed for ...
或者 In 1791 he himself arranged to buy the land,it(或the land)standed for ...
In China, a bike is a more convenient means of transport in big cities than a car.
In China, bikes are more convenient means of transport in big cities than cars.
Mr.James wasn't ___ amused at the game
The game didn't amuse Mr.James much.
