  1. check the delivery record, and verify with the guest. 

  2. If the it's verified that the fax had been sent to the room already, ask the guest to find it carefully in every corner, or go upstairs and help the guest with this process. 

  3. If the fax is still not found, ask the floor attendant whether the document was accidentally thrown away during the cleaning process. 

  4. If the problem is caused by the hotel, should find out the process that went wrong, and stop it from happening again.

If it is ensured to be delivered, please tell customers to search carefully in the room or help them looking for the fax.
If the fax is still not found, ask the hotel clerks on that floor to see if they throw the fax accidently when cleaning the room.
If the hotel should be responsible for the missing, the hotel should find where the error occurs and avoid that happening again.
