My favorite city
Today I want to talk about a beautiful city — Changchun, the capital of Jilin
province, where I lived four years. It is the place where I lived longest except my hometown, and also is my favorite city.
Four years ago, I was admitted to Jilin University. So I took the train to Changchun alone with my luggage. Arriving there, I just had an impression that Changchun is only an ordinary city. However, after a period of living there, I developed a liking for the city.
About Changchun, what I most enjoy is its sky, always very blue and quite as pure as water. And, the clouds in the sky are so white, just like snow-white cotton piled upon one another. Whenever I was in bad mood, as long as I looked up at the sky, my moods always became better.
The autumn of Changchun, my favorite season, also is very beautiful. The leaves of the trees turn golden yellow slowly. The bright golden leaves and blue sky set each other off beautifully to make the autumn a poem. When the wind blows, leaves are flying just like golden butterflies dancing in the wind. At such times, I often went out for a hiking with my friends to enjoy the scenery of nature.
Besides, the best feature of Changchun is the winter. Due to Changchun locating in the north of China, its winter usually lasts almost half of a year, but is not monotonous at all. In winter, there are always heavy snows, which will not melt until next spring. The whole city is a vast expanse of whiteness. It is my favorite to ramble in the campus in the feathery snowflakes, just like walking in the kingdom of fairy tales.
Now, I have left Changchun for almost half of a year with graduation. I am missing Changchun and the blue sky, white clouds, golden leaves, heavy snows, especially my friends there. I really hope I can go back to Changchun to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to ramble in the campus with my friends again.

My favorite season is winter.It lasts from December to February.It is the coidest season in the year.In winter,the days are very short.When it comes ,the leaves fall from the trees.When it snows,the ground is white with snow.We can wear warm clothes and go to make snowmen.It is a good season for skating .I like winter best.
