Do you read books?

Yes, definitely. I like reading and I have been reading books almost every day for the past two years. For me ,reading is like eating which has become an integral part of my life. And reading is also a light for me, illuminating my life and warming my heart. Although it’s a pity that I  don’t start reading earlier, I think it’s never too late to read and fortunately ,I’ve started. I have finished about  100 books now ,and of course  I will continue it for the rest of my life.

I  begin to read books in English this year . I  finished The Old Man and Sea  two months before . I was moved  deeply by the spirit of never giving up of the old man . I still remember this word: A man is not made for defeat ,a man can be destroyed but not defeated .Honestly ,reading  books in English is not easy for me now. But I believe that if I persist in doing it ,I  will make a progress. I should learn from the old man and keep on going.

I’m reading the second book in English now and I may finish it this month. It is The Flipped. I have seen a movie made from this book many years ago and I still remember the wonderful view in the movie .what’s more ,I like the heroine in it named Julia , a warm-hearted and brilliant  girl. And  I have read the chapter that Bryce realized his fault . Everyone  makes mistakes. The  importance is we should admit it and learn a lesson from it.

Anyway ,reading is an enjoyable  thing and books are nice friends . Sincerely ,I  hope that everyone will love reading and benefit from it.
