It's my great honor to have the chance to deliver a speech here and i'm grateful for it, Impressed as I am by the excellent speeches made by the previous candidates, I will prove myself to be the best one for the post of chairman of the student union.

Fist of all, I have a pleasant personality. as a class monitor in my past freshman year, I've been getting along well with all my classmates as well as my teachers and have accumulated quite a lot of working experience and communication skills, which I regard as essential for the post I am running for.

In addition, I have the initiative and creativity. Although our student union is well-organized at present, it lacks various activities that we students are interested in and can participate in. I love helping others and I am an extraordinary patient person. I am very good at english and mathematics. Moreover, my organizational skill is extremely well. My favorite extracurricular activities are dancing and singing. I was a part-time employee of the welfare centre, and I was a chinese tutor for other kids. If I was elected as the president, I would first spend money on improving the facilities of our library. Most facilities are too old for students to use, and I am going to renovate them. Second, I am going to create more student organisations. We as students need to communication often with each other.
