Chinese is totally quoted of the word CHINA, and China is historically originated of CHIN/QIN, Qin(秦) was a great/strong country in the far East! 'Cause that Chin and Qin are spoken/pronauciated in the same voice in the western languages, specially in English.
During theTang(唐) Danasty, Tang was also the strongest country of that times, in the econmies(GDP/International trading) and culture. Most of the fine/beautiful "nud staffs(瓷器)" were imported from our country through the SILK ROAD. as all the world knows/knew well, Many royal memebers in European nations enjoyed the nud container/vessels/bowls...so much that they often showoff each other. So they usually/gradually called this far-way country as CHINA as the origination(原产地) of the products . .............. 爱德华老师分解之!
