It was really tough for me at first and I got badly homesick.Once that first semester was over and I got used to the college life, I loved it — good facilities, helpful instructors, and a good library. Preparing Myself for College Life Ladies and Gentlemen: From what Mike has just said, we learn that due to lacking basic life skills, Mike got a very tough life during his first year of college. Once he got used to it, he became active in everything and made many friends. I am a senior student now. The first day I entered the senior school, my parents and teachers told me that I must study hard so that I can enter a key university. I study 9 subjects, which almost takes up all my time. My parents do everything for me in life. All I need to do is studying, studying and studying. I hope I can get more freedom in college. And the college should not judge us only by the scores.
