too much，too many和a lot of的区别？

too many 和 a lot of 的词义不一样。
too many 的意思是过量的“多”、“太多”，用于可数名词；而 a lot of 的意思是“数量多”、“大量”，用于可数和不可数名词。严格说来，这两个词组不是近义词，也不能互换。前者常用于含否定语义的表达中，后者只用于肯定语义的表达。例：
There are too many books to read. You can't read every single one of them. （书多得读不完，你不可能每一本都读。）
If you plan too many activities for one day, it's not a good plan. （如果你计划太多的活动，一天都做不完，那不是个好计划。）
