With the development of science and technology,people’s living standards have been improved.Nowadays,more and more people own private cars.Is it a good or bad thing to have a private car?
Some people think it is a good thing.For example,it can provide convenience for you.If you have a car,you can go wherever you want quickly and easily.It can also help you save a lot of time in waiting for other vehicles.Besides,it can give you the sense of independence.
However,it is also disadvantages for you to have a private car and it will make roads crowded and cause traffic jams.Second,sometimes it is difficult for you to find a parking place.Third,the expenses are high,such as paying for petrol and all the repairs your car needs.What’s worse,waste gas giving off from cars can pollute air and cause acid rain,which does harm to the living things.
In my opinion,having a private car is good.But we should take a bus or ride a bike every now and then,so we can keep fit.Besides,in order to save energy and protect the enviroment,we should invent some high technology cars which are enviroment friendly.
