There’s one thing that I can’t forget. It’s about me achieving my goal. Some year ago, I wanted to give my mum a perfect birthday. I thought about it over and over but couldn’t think of anything. Just then I remember that she always say that if I study hard she’ll be pleased. So I decided to do well in my all exams to surprise my mum.
I didn’t use to study hard and my results were not very good. I found that it’s hard to catch up with all the things I should’ve known but I didn’t stop revising. As I was revising for my exams I realized that studying is actually neither boring nor so hard. I was glad that I got my self interested in the subjects I learnt. On the day of the exams, I felt myself full of confidence. I’ve never feel like this before. I used to feel like wanting to run away from exams but on that day I was fully prepared. As I expected, I’ve done well in that exam and got the grades I wanted. ‘I’ve made it.’ I said to myself.
That night, I went home and showed my mum my results. She was really pleased and said that it was her best birthday gift ever.
