C.Q.D. (Customary Quick Despatch)
In any case, seller shall guarantee original documents to be delivered to buyer in time
within 14 calendar days after date of arrival of vessel at discharge port, subject to receipt
of buyer’s workable letter of credit at seller’s bank before carrying vessel arriving at
discharge port. Otherwise penalty of late customs declaration, i.e. daily 0.05% of CIF
cargo value counting from the 14th
calendar day after date of arrival of vessel at
discharge port, if any, shall be charged on seller’s account.
If vessel is soon to arrive at discharging port upon signing of contract, leaving no time
for buyer to prepare customs declaration, penalty of late customs declaration, i.e. daily
0.05% of CIF cargo value counting from 14th
calendar days after date of arrival of vessel
at discharging port, if any, shall be charged on seller’s account.
In case of absence of original bill of lading at the discharging port, Seller confirm to
discharge the cargo against Buyer’s LOI but delivery of cargo only against presentation of
original Bill of Lading.
Vessel owner’s claim for stevedore damage if any at discharge port is to be settled
between Stevedore and Owners directly. Notice of such damage shall be given by Master
and confirmed by Stevedore within 24 hours of occurrence of damage or latest prior
sailing of the Vessel. Buyer shall render due assistance to help achieving amicable
