答：句意: 他看见我们了。他在向我们挥手呢。 当see作看见解时，没有进行时态。

为什么不用there be?
答：expect sb. to do sth. 这是expect 的复宾用法，宾补用有to的不定式。这是特殊形式的复合宾语。本人不太喜欢这种“人工考句”。完全可能用它的宾语从句用法。

答：主动语态时，take care of sth. 中of 可以省略吗？ 不可以。

He is likely not(to have been notified)about this meeting. Why has not he come?
为什么不用to be notified?
答：不定式的一般式表示将来的事，完成式表示过去的（已经发生了的）事。
He is likely to go abroad next month. 他可能下个月要出国。
He is likely to have gone abroad already. 他可能已经出国了。
原句只不过是不定式的否定被动式罢了，道理是一样的。
