I went to Beijing on my holidays.
我假期去了北京。
I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city.
我去过北京八次以上。北京是中国的首都。这是一个大城市。我对北京很熟悉。从南通乘飞机到北京需要一小时四十分钟。北京有许多高楼。这是一座现代化的城市。
My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting.
我的家人参观了长城、颐和园、故宫博物院、北海公园、太空馆等。我去了北京的农村划船和钓鱼。非常有趣。
I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
On the next holiday, I am going to go to Canada. I am going to be there from the twenty-
sixth of January to the fifth of February.I'm going to get there by plane.
Winter is very cold in Canada,the snow can cover all the way up to your knees!Just thinking about it makes me shiver,so I bought a bing warm coat ,a pair of water proof mittens ,and two pairs of very fluffy very warm boots and lots of sweaters.
I will ski at Whistler mountain where the winter Olympics were held.I'll also go to Montreal and see the old buildings.After that I'll visit Yukon and see the Northern lights.
I really looking forward to this trip,I bet it'll be really fun!

a trip to Vietnam
last vacation I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.
