我也参加过大大小小的英语演讲比赛，以个人的经验建议你不要这么说。
首先这个比赛既然决定去了，就要有足够的信心，没信心也不能跟人说我怎么怎么不好，这样一上来，评委就会觉得你既然是你说的这个水平，那还来浪费什么时间。
其次，我相信你既然去了，就一定有所准备，不要想忘词了怎么办，这是一种心理暗示，赛前这种暗示会让你真的忘词。所以你一定要不断鼓励自己我已经准备好了，绝对不会忘词的！
再次，我觉得你想搞搞笑，缓解一下气氛当然可以，但是不要自嘲，自嘲除了你自己觉得好笑，其他人不会觉得好笑。。。
根据你自己的个性，特点，想一个特别的开场白，你想想，所有选手都这么说，评委早审美疲劳了，只要你这时候来点新鲜的，评委马上眼前一亮！第一印象好了，在后面很给你挣分的！
我写一段给你个参考，但是仅供参考哦。
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I'm XX from classXX grade XX, like Martin Luther King, I care a lot about human being's life status（生活现状）, sometimes I even lose in thought when I am eating, playing and sleeping! So, if I stop during my speech, don't worry, I don't forget my lines, my mind must be somewhere else with the my black brothers. Please call me back.
