肯定是C. 原句来自章振邦《新编英语语法教程》第4单元练习。理论上解释为：可数名词在某些带of a结构中的抽象用法，除as much of a...as 外，还有more of a...than=more adj than, 这个形容词与前面的名词同源，as much of a success as =as successful as, less of a coward than=less cowardly than, a little of a coquette =a little coquettish等等，不胜枚举。至于选项A, 许多辅导书都理解错了，认为more a success than也能接受，只是与C意思不同。其实不然。more...than...分开连接的结构通常表示与其说...不如说...，多样前后相连的结构必须是同等形式方可，如more a friend than a teacher, more daring than quick-witted，这些在章振邦教材第25课有详细讲解。
