贝多芬，这位享誉全球的艺术家，一生中经历了多少磨难，遭受了多少打击！2岁时，可怕的天花差点要了他的命，在母亲的悉心照料下，他才躲过了死神。3岁时，他慈祥的祖父又远离人世间，从此，贝多芬的父亲沉醉于酒桶之中，晚上回来又打骂贝多芬。到了15岁，贝多芬更是背负着养家的重担。17岁，他又失去了心爱的母亲。到了三十一岁时，可怜的贝多芬几乎什么都听不到了！
相对于他的悲惨命运，贝多芬传奇的一生更是值得人惊叹！他在三岁时开始学习钢琴和小提琴。1778年3月26日，贝多芬举办了自己的第一场音乐会，那时，他还不满8岁！而他不满15岁时,就已经可以指挥一个乐队了。18岁，贝多芬就成为了一个知名的作曲家！在他以后的岁月里他的音乐天赋更是表现得淋漓尽致，先后创作了《降B大调钢琴协奏曲》、《大提琴鸣奏曲》、《英雄交响曲》、《庄严弥撒》和我们都熟悉的《月光鸣奏曲》（又名《月光曲》）等世界千古绝唱。
读了《世界名人传记——贝多芬》使我感到很快乐。我不仅从中获得了许多知识，让我了解了贝多芬。还让我从中悟出了许多人生哲理。
——矢志不俞是人生走向成功的动力。俗话说：“有志者，事竟成。”贝多芬的一生是从磨难中走过的，人生的荆棘一再狠狠地刺他，而贝多芬，却始终没有放弃他的理想，而是在一次又一次的失败中不断地爬起来，不断地向人生辉煌的顶点迈进！
——天赋＋努力，是人生驶向理想彼岸的双桨。贝多芬，从小就受到音乐的熏陶，很小就显现出了他独特的音乐天赋，他8岁就开办音乐会，15岁就能指挥一个乐队，18岁就成了知名的音乐家。相对于他10分的天赋，更是付出了12分的努力！他六岁就经常练琴到午夜，他平时练琴都练得手发烫！正是因为贝多芬不仅有超人的音乐天赋，而且有超出常人的努力和付出，才最终成就了这位杰出的音乐家。
——不断地磨练是严寒的人生路上抵御严寒的棉衣。贝多芬一生中不管在爱情还是在事业上，都遇到了许多挫折，然而，这些挫折并没使他灰心，反而更加激发了他，《月光曲》就是他在经历了爱情的失败后的佳作。
这些道理不是随便说说,他们还帮过我的大忙呢!
有一次,石老师布置了一道非常难的题。只告诉我甲乙两车两次相遇的地点距离分别是28千米和60千米，还告诉我两车相向而行,到站后立即返回，求两站的距离。麻烦哪，这里面有太多的未知条件了，如：甲乙两车的速度，相遇时间等等！我左思右想，可还是没有办法，怎么办呢？明天就要交作业呀！
我望着窗外的倾盆大雨，正准备放弃之时，心里灵机一动： 抄答案。可……作为一个好学生,抄答案，好象有点不道德吧！但，我这个题实在想不出来呀！不抄吧……明天可能会罚站；抄吧……自己的良心又过不去。就在我内心交错矛盾的时候，我突然想起了贝多芬！贝多芬在那样的环境下，依然是那样的努力，那样的矢志不俞，那样的经得起挫折！可我呢，遇到一点困难就低下了头，贝多芬对我的教育难道是白教育的吗？不，绝对不是，我一定要把这道题解出来！
想到这里，我心中好象燃起了火一般的斗志——一定要解出这道题。我努力回想老师以前教给我的方法，有啦！我连忙画出一个线段图，按照题目的要求一步一步来。没过一会儿，题目做出来啦！我真高兴啊！我真快乐啊！
读了这本书，让我感到万分快乐，因为它告诉了我一些会令我受益终身的道理！

Deng Yaping is my favorite sports star.She was a great Chinese ping pong ball athlete. Deng Yaping was born on the second of June,1973.She is thirty-five years old now.With the effection from her father,she started playing table tennis when she was only five!Because she was shorter than most of the athletes,the Henan table tennis team didn't let her join until 1983.She was the most talented and outstanding athlete at that time.After she had joined the Henan table tennis team,she was chosen by the national table tennis team!Of course,she had to practice harder and harder than before.In 1997,she went to Tsinghua University and majoyed in English and management.She had hardly time during the majoying but she tried her best and finally graduated successfully.From 1993 to 1998,she became the number one women's singles player in the ITTF(International Table Tennis Federation).Now she is also a kind and loving mother.Deng Yaping is always full of energy and confidence.She doesn't satisfy the medals that she got.She works hard for her destinations bravely."Never give up"That's her motto,so do I.That's why I admire her so much and I dream to be a great person just like her.

most like the human is Liu Xiang 。 the famous athlete Liu Xiang striding forward in the Olympics Games in Athens. Determination is universally regarded asa highly praised quality. It is neither genius nor extraordinary ability that gives us power to deal with and overcome whatever hardship one is confronted with. It is this kind of spirit that enables us to endure the difficult moments and attain our goals.

The determined spirit gives us light when we are in dark moments and encourages when we are frustrated. With this quality, no enemy can overwhelm us, and noobstacles can stand in our way. There are many examples of success being achieved solely through the strong will of the spirit. As in the picture, the athlete is running, with a determined spirit, towards the finishing line in order to obtain the gold medal, considered as the symbol of success for any sportsman. It is determination that leads to success. �

It is not easy to cultivate this determined spirit. To do this, we must establish a firm faith in our actions and be ready to devote ourselves to them. We must boldly go through trials and hardships to train our will so as to get rid of the weak points of our moral character. Around us, there are quite a few people with this intense determination and spirit and set a good example for us to follow.

My favorite sports super star is Michael Jordan who is the most successful basketball player in the NBA. He can shoot,he can pass and do anything he wants.Not only is he a fantastic basketball player but also a exemplary man.For he donated a lot of money to the charity to help the poor.I love Michael Jordan very much.He is my idol.

There have been many great players of the game, some whose names are heard all around the world, others who are talked about every blue moon, but one name that will be heard where ever you go is Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan is a worldwide name; sometimes referred to as M.J., or Air Jordan, but no matter how you hear it everyone knows who is being talked about. That’s right, the greatest player to put his hands on the ball. Jordan has fans all over the world, and not only is he known for his action on the court, but he is also known for the things that he does off the court. Know let’s see why everyone wants to be like Mike.
Where it all started for Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan has been a great athlete since junior high school. He was interested in many sports especially baseball and basketball. Jordan pitched on the baseball team, played quarter back on the football team and was guard on the basketball team. Although he was involved in all of these things, he was very unpopular. Mike was teased for the way he looked, his haircut, and the way he stuck his tongue out when he played basketball. Despite all of this criticism Mike had to endure, he came out on top. It wasn’t all because of him, but because he had a father behind him helping him to fulfill his dreams. When Michael’s father saw that he was interested in basketball, he constructed a court in the back yard for him to practice on, and from then on Mike has been playing the game and playing it well. He went on to play at North Carolina, in his freshman freshman year, and in his junior year he was drafted by the Bull’s, were he led them to many championships. Late in Mike’s game years his father was murdered, he had a hard time with his game, but as you can see, nothing can stop him. And still, everybody wants to be like Mike.
Accomplishments
Michael Jordan is someone who will never have to sit back and wonder what they have accomplished in life. Jordan as we know has set records that have yet to be broken and he has accomplished things that were thought to be impossible to accomplish. For example, on May 6, 1998, M.J. became the first player in history to be selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team nine times. Jordan has also earned nine individual scoring titles, four Most Valuable Player awards, and he averaged 31.7 points per game which is the highest in NBA history. These are some of his accomplishments on the court. I often wonder what it would feel like to make history by just doing something that I enjoy. Obviously Jordan doesn’t have to wonder, he already knows. "At the presumed end of his career, he has created his own line of cologne and clothing, presuming shrewdly that, while no one can be like Mike exactly, the chance to smell and dress like him will be — in a world given over to computer generated simulations — virtually enough".

Conclusion
As you can see, Michael Jordan is some one who is worth recognition. He is someone who I look up to when it comes to the game. Jordan has accomplished a lot， and it wasn’t all fun and games, it took a lot of hard work, practice and effort to be one of the greatest basketball players of all times. Now do you see why everyone wants to be like Mike? Everyone wants the fame, the fortune and the just plain and simply the life that Michael Jordan lives. Jordan is an example that what ever you dream to become, it is possible to become just that. And whatever your goal is, you can reach it, with a little hard work, effort, and commitment.
